The Vault

The Vault is a new block that was introduced for testing on January 31. Unlike regular chests, you can’t craft a Vault. You can only find it in trial chambers. The best part about the Vault is that it rewards every player who opens it with a trial key. But to get the key, you’ll have to activate a trial spawner and defeat the mobs that spawn from it.

The Wind Charge

The Wind Charge is a new item that you can get from defeated breezes. It allows you to launch a powerful air projectile at your enemies. This projectile not only damages your enemies on contact but also sends nearby mobs flying. Unfortunately, you can’t craft the Wind Charge. If you want one, you’ll have to fight some breezes. It’s worth the fight though, as skilled players can use the Wind Charge’s knockback to enhance their jumping ability!

Testing the New Features

You can test these new features by enabling snapshots for Minecraft: Java Edition, or previews/beta for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. The Wind Charge is currently available for testing in Java Edition snapshots and will be available in Bedrock Edition preview and beta soon. To install a snapshot, open the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab.
